26 April – HALL Family Wines has hired David Eriksen as Vice President, Hospitality, responsible for day-to-day operations of its five tasting rooms as well as managing its diverse tasting experience offerings at each location for the HALL, WALT and BACA brands. Prior to joining HALL, Eriksen started his career in the wine industry as the Director of Hospitality at Mirassou Vineyards in 2001 before moving into hospitality and wine education at the Professional Culinary Institute, Princess Cruises, Carmel Valley Ranch Resort, and Monterey Peninsula College. Most recently, Eriksen was the Beverage Manager at The Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, overseeing multiple outlets at the luxury property. Eriksen also holds an MBA from Sonoma State University. Owned by Craig and Kathryn Hall, HALL Family Wines produces high quality Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Zinfandel under the HALL, WALT and BACA brand monikers, with five tasting room locations in Northern California.
