25 April – Wokenwine, the new WINE + NFT platform dedicated to wines, announced today its ambitions to become a key player in this rapidly developing market. Wokenwine aims to become the first world- wide wine lovers’ community trading in a fair, transparent and ethical ecosystem. The wine lovers will be able to concentrate on the sole pleasure of drinking exceptional wines made by exceptional wine makers.
Blockchain technology which has become widespread, guarantees the fidelity and security of a record of data and generates trust without the need for a trusted third party. In view of all of this, the Wokenwine’s concept is, each bottle registered on the platform will have its unique identity by minting an NFT.

Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy already announced his intention to sell his entire 2020 vintage production through NFTs via the Wokenwine platform.

As Chief Executive Officer, Valéry Lux is a private equity investor and asset developer in Europe and Singapore with a focus on asset management with more than 25 years of sales and trading experience. Valéry is a lover of wines and he is passionate about new technologies blockchain.
As Chief Operating Officer, Raphaèle Hervé Marraud de Sigalony has a great expertise in art. She worked for 15 years in this domain, in particular at Christie’s Hong Kong where she was specialized in Chinese porcelain. With a very good knowledge of the Asian market, she helped “Vestiaire collective”, an online marketplace in the fashion industry allowing 5 million highly engaged buyers and sellers to trade their luxury item, launch in Asian markets.
As Chief Technology Officer, Valérie Engel worked 10 years in IT-area developing projects, until she decided to become an entrepreneur. She managed several companies in Europe and Singapore. She has developed her skills in asset management, legal and tax issues.
The company also has the ambition to link the world of wine and art, by inviting contemporary artists to propose their original creations. In the short term, an interconnection with Decentraland-type Metaverse is planned.
