Fort Lauderdale, Florida (April 5, 2022) – Fort Lauderdale based Sip Channé, an award-winning line of rosé and blanc varietals created and imported from Provence, France, is excited to announce it has brought on Jonathan Chabat as its chief operating officer.
On track to becoming a master Sommelier, Chabat will bring the Sip Channé brand to new heights by increasing productivity, implementing new and exciting marketing programs, and expanding relationships with suppliers, distributors, and community organizations. In this new role, Chabat will also assist in the launch of new products and strategic partnerships into 2023 and beyond.

Prior to joining Sip Channe, Jonathan Chabat most recently served as the director of sales at BODVAR House of Rosés where he successfully initialized DTC service throughout 42 states and opened multiple national accounts. Chabat brings with him an extensive knowledge of food and wine, experience with well-heeled clients, and a collaborative spirit. The multilingual Chabat was born and raised in the cosmopolitan city of Marseille, France where he helped his father behind the counter at many of his bars and restaurants. In 2016 he was the assistant director of food and beverage at the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. He was also hand-selected to join the Hilton Hotels task force to open four new hotels (Hilton West Palm Beach, Hilton Downtown Cleveland, Conrad Chicago and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills) as well as lead training seminars and fill in for employees. Chabat also held the role of general manager at the Diplomat Beach Resort’s Diplomat Prime, a luxury boutique steakhouse in Hollywood, Florida. In 2019 he was the general manager at Sorrisi at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Florida, where he successfully increased check averages by 23%, increased guest satisfaction to the highest level and developed supplier sales programs. Chabat also holds a BTS Action Commerciale from France, FAU Hospitality and Tourism Management certificate, and National Restaurant Association Leadership certification in AHLEI.
The flagship product, Channé Rosé, is the brainchild of Kavita Channe founded in 2017 and quickly became an award-winning rosé true to Provençal tradition. Since its inception, the brand has expanded to include Channé Blanc, an elegant white blend. The Sip Channé award winning product line is now distributed across restaurants and retailers in Florida, Georgia and New York. Channé Rosé has received the Mondial Du Rose 2022 gold medal as well as a silver medal at the Concours General Agricole in 2019.
