A dialogue between old and new vintages to uncover similarities and differences

April 4th – Tedeschi – a Valpolicella winery with a profound bond to the territory that boasts a nearly four century history steeped in values and traditions– will be an Exhibitor at Vinitaly from the 10th to the 13th of April in Verona. The winery has as its main focus the enhancement of Valpolicella, which has translated into the development of a strong identity that is a combination of deep roots in the land, a vocation for innovation, and a major commitment to sustainability.

The result of their efforts are elegant, structured, and long-lived wines, which faithfully recount the details of their place of origin.

Vinitaly 2022 will be the place to experience old and new vintages up-close and listen to what individual wines divulge about how their characteristics have evolved over time.

The following wines will be available for tasting in an exclusive, first-time preview:

  • Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone della Valpolicella DOGC Classico Riserva 2016
  • La Fabriseria Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore 2019
  • Maternigo Valpolicella DOC Superiore 2019
  • Lucchine Valpolicella DOC 2021
  • Capitel San Rocco Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore 2019

The new entry, Maternigo Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Riserva 2016, which made its debut at the end of last year and continues to enjoy success in all social circles and has even made a splash in the Veronese limelight.

Particularly noteworthy will be the dialogue that spawns from within the glasses of the younger and older vintages of Capitel Monte Olmi, La Fabriseria Valpolicella, Maternigo Valpolicella and Marne 180. We anticipate a true tasting journey that will reveal the evolution of each wine across its history.

Tedeschi will present the Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone della Valpolicella DOGC Classico Riserva 2011 – an extremely prestigious older vintage – at Operawine the 9th of April at the Gallerie Mercatali in Verona. This not-to-be-missed event will feature the 130 best Italian labels according to Wine Spectator.

The event will be held from the 10th to the 13th of April at Vinitaly, PAD 4 Stand C3.
