Location on Main Street Napa Adds to Downtown Post-COVID Resilience

NAPA, CA – March 30, 2022 – NEW FRONTIER WINE CO., a St. Helena and Napa based wine producer and importer, announced the opening of their tasting room in downtown Napa this Friday, April 1, 2022. The company stated the intent was to call the location a Tasting Lounge and showcase the wines in the New Frontier Wine Co. portfolio.

“What makes this place unique is the relaxed atmosphere we’re trying to create,” explains Managing Director of Ren Acquisition and New FrontierJim Silver. “The luxury consumer is changing. They are self-selecting where they feel welcomed, and we want to give sophisticated Napa Valley visitors a very comfortable place to land and explore wines on their terms – a club room of their own.”

The concept for the Lounge came out of the brand planning by WineGlass Marketing and was brought to life by a partnership between New Frontier Wine Co. and Rejuvenation. Rejuvenation is an American manufacturer and marketer of home furnishings from Portland, Oregon and was chosen by WineGlass Marketing due to its close correlation with the New Frontier Wine Co. brand aesthetic. Gaynor Strachan-Chun, the Director of Strategic Planning at WineGlass Marketing, spearheaded the design project. She states that once the idea of partnering with a furniture company was breached, she set about a search with specific criteria. “New Frontier Wine Co. has a culture of craftsmanship. Every decision is considered and purposeful. We wanted the room to reflect that thoughtfulness as well as a shared commitment to sustainability, reuse, and oftentimes American-made,” explains Chun. “Rejuvenation was great to work with and offered us a designer and color theorists. We’re thrilled how it came out.”

“The New Frontier Wine Lounge will be a place to enjoy your wine experience at your pace, emphasizing comfort,” says Silver. “There will be no tasting bar, rather we will have sofas and overstuffed chairs, a quarterly magazine to enjoy, and highly knowledgeable people to provide guidance. This is their not-so-private private club.”

The wines will be different, as well. The Lounge will offer tasting flights and wine by the glass from their portfolio of wines from Napa, Sonoma, and Amador, but also their imports from Mendoza and Patagonia, Argentina, Uruguay, Australia, and France.

The New Frontier Wine Lounge will be open seven days a week from 12 – 7. Reservations are not required but are recommended for parties larger than six people.

Founded in 2019, New Frontier Wine Co. is based in Napa, California. It is the production and marketing parent company of Alejandro Bulgheroni Estate (St. Helena) and Renwood (Amador Co.) as well as a collection of Napa Valley brands, including Lithology, Justice, Waypoint Vineyards, Pursuit Napa Valley, and Renwood. New Frontier Wine Co. also imports and distributes Château Langalerie from Bordeaux, Otronia Patagonia Extrema and Devoción (Organic Mendoza) from Argentina, Alkina from the Barossa, South Australia, and Altos de José Ignacio wines from Uruguay. New Frontier Wine Company employs outstanding winemakers like Matt Sands, Maayan Koschitsky, Philippe Melka, Joe Shebl, Juan-Pablo Murgia, Michel Rolland and Alberto Antonini to produce its wines.  Its Napa wines are produced from the vineyards of Andy Beckstoffer, including To-Kalon, Dr. Crane, Bourn, Georges III, and Carneros Lake, and from Bettinelli’s Upper Range Vineyard and the Grieve Estate in Lovell Valley. Sonoma wines are sourced from the Ritchie, Starscape, Terra de Promisso and Charles Heintz Vineyards.
