3/21/2022 – Saint Helena, CA – The Collective Napa Valley inaugural event goes live on Thursday March 24, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. PDT with a welcome to Napa Valley live broadcast production.

Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) is teaming up with SOMM TV and over 20 all-star winemakers to present a premier live broadcast with special appearances by Wine MVP Will Blackmon and SOMM TV personality Claire Coppi.

The experience will be a whirlwind virtual trip from Carneros to Calistoga to the mountain tops that make Napa Valley one of the most distinctive winemaking regions in the world. Access to view the event is available to all members of Collective Napa Valley ranging from the complementary level on up.

“This is an exciting day in Napa Valley. Together, as we explore the Napa Valley Vintners’ new, unfolding adventure, we will share our passions, pour our thrilling wines, tell our stories and honor, support and protect our community.  One of the reasons that Napa Valley is unique in the world of wine is that we are passionate about our wines, our land and our community.  We embrace our important long-time friends, and now our new members, with gusto. We spring from and give back to our cherished community.  We are a Collective,” said Robin Lail, Chair of the Collective Napa Valley Spring offering and President of Lail Vineyards.

Collective Napa Valley is an innovative membership program in the wine industry.  Throughout the year, members will engage with vintners and explore the region through a variety of programs and events online and in person.

Those who join will become part of a greater community of people who care about Napa Valley and its future. Collective Napa Valley replaces the celebrated Auction Napa Valley as the key philanthropy program for the Napa Valley community.

Since launching on January 10, 2022, Collective Napa Valley has grown to 1,000 members and has already raised $1 million, which directly benefits health care and youth development programs. Core to the Collective Napa Valley giving model will be continuing NVV’s legacy of caring for the community and investing in Napa Valley’s most important needs.

NVV has donated more than $200 million to community nonprofits over the last 40 years, focusing on strategic initiatives for health care and youth development. NVV’s giving touches the lives of more than 100,000 people annually.
