Napa Valley luminaries, vintners and business leaders come together to support Napa County’s only non-profit community health centers providing care for 40,000 residents.

February 23, 2022, Napa, CA – In celebration of its milestone 50th Anniversary, the OLE Health Foundation board of directors announced the expanded vision for its annual fundraising event, SALUD Napa Valley. The festivities will be held over four days, May 12 – 15, 2022, highlighted by a luxury auction and dinner at one of the Napa Valley’s iconic estates, Quintessa. SALUD Napa Valley provides crucial support for the vital work of OLE Health, providing healthcare to the essential workers that drive Napa’s economic engine.

SALUD Napa Valley kicks off on Thursday, May 12 with the invitation-only Visionaries Luncheon hosted by OLE Health Foundation Board Chair Darioush Khaledi and his wife Shahpar. This exclusive event will honor and recognize those whose support has played a key role in enabling OLE Health to grow from a small volunteer clinic to a network of nonprofit health centers across the Napa Valley and into Fairfield-Suisun, delivering quality healthcare to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.

“For five decades, OLE Health has been the safety net for our community’s workforce, committed to providing the highest quality healthcare to everyone regardless of their ability to pay,” said Darioush Khaledi, OLE Health Foundation Board Chair. “As we commemorate this milestone and moment in Napa Valley’s history, we look forward to honoring those whose support has played a vital role in helping everyone who lives and works in Napa Valley lead a happy and healthy life.”

On Friday May 13, weekend pass attendees will enjoy the best of Napa Valley hospitality at intimate al fresco dinners hosted by some of the regions most celebrated vintners including Dalla Valle Vineyards and Cliff Lede Vineyards. Attendees at each dinner will enjoy the company of OLE Health’s senior medical staff and learn from them about the difference OLE Health makes in the lives of its patients and the community at large.

The SALUD Dinner & Auction, the weekend event’s highlight, will take place on Friday May 14, among the vineyards of Quintessa. Hand selected vintages from the Huneeus Wines family of brands will flow and be paired with a curated four-course dinner inspired by the bounty and beauty of the Napa Valley, generously sponsored by Quintessa. Noted auctioneer Fritz Hatton will lead a lively auction of intriguing lots consisting of vintner hosted trips and experiences, luxurious getaways, sporting excursions, memorable dinners, rare wines, and more. The evening will be punctuated by an energetic performance by GRAMMY Award-winning band Ozomatli. Known as much for their activism and farmworker advocacy as their wide array of musical styles, the six-person Los Angeles-based band has been entertaining global audiences since 1995.

The weekend culminates with the SALUD Family Fiesta in downtown Napa at the CIA at Copia on Sunday, May 15, where guests will enjoy live music, creative food and wine pairings, a 50/50 raffle, lawn games, photo booth, face painting, and more. All ages welcome.

Passes range from the all-inclusive Weekend Pass ($2,500 per person, $1800 tax-deductible), to a la carte tickets to the SALUD Dinner & Auction ($1,000 per person, $700 tax deductible) and Family Fiesta ($75 per person. Kids 12 and under free). For more information, and to secure passes, please visit olehealth.org/salud.

OLE Health is committed to the health and safety of both hosts and guests. All events will follow local, state and CDC guidelines at the time of the event.
