Cakebread Cellars Names New CFO and VP of DTC and Hospitality

Napa Valley, CA (January X, 2021) — The Cakebread Cellars family is pleased to announce that Rich Archer has been named new Chief Financial Officer and Misty Roudebush Cain has been named Vice President of Direct to Consumer & Hospitality. Both arrive at Cakebread Cellars with extensive knowledge in the wine business. Mike Jaeger, winery President & CEO states, “We are thrilled to welcome two innovative and knowledgeable team members to our Cakebread family as we enter the new year. These positions are crucial to our success and I am confident they will be strong additions to our company.”

Rich Archer joins the Cakebread Cellars team on January 10 as Chief Financial Officer. Rich brings to his role a broad and diverse background in retail, wholesale, distribution, and manufacturing business. A graduate of Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, Rich served as CFO of Wente Family Estates from 2003 to 2008, giving him valuable experience in the family-owned wine business. He has also held senior financial positions in the aerospace and defense industry, as well as the footwear industry, while at the Clarks Company. Most recently, Rich was the CEO at Bloom Farms, a San Francisco-based cannabis company.

Misty Roudebush Cain steps into her role as VP of Direct to Consumer & Hospitality at Cakebread Cellars on January 11. Misty has more than 20 years of DTC and marketing experience. Most recently she was director of marketing and member services of St. Supéry winery. Prior to joining St. Supéry in 2015, Misty held several positions in wine club, hospitality, eCommerce and events while employed by Chalk Hill and B.R. Cohn wineries. Misty recently served as chair for the Napa Valley Vintners Marketing and Communications committee and co-host’s Wine Women Radio podcast, which just recorded its 100th episode.
