Lompoc, CA (October 22, 2021) – All are invited to join in a reception on Friday, November 5,  from 4-6pm at Flying Goat Cellars Tasting Room, located at 1520 East Chestnut Court in Lompoc.  We are honoring the wine-inspired fluid paintings of local artist Chris Jeszeck and a new wine  label for the non-profit Return to Freedom Wild Horse Conservation. Both paintings and wine  make great holiday gifts so bring your shopping list to support philanthropy in our community.

Local artist Chris Jeszeck is a painter of realism and abstract, in acrylics, oils and colored pencils. Above all, she is attracted to color and our exhibit features some of her colorful wine-inspired pieces. “Placing color upon a canvas can convey a mood and provoke feelings in the viewer and hopefully a connection to the art itself. If I have one goal with my art and the use of color, it would be to make the viewer smile,” said Jeszeck. Visit www.chrissypaints.com or www.youtube.com/c/ChrisJeszeck to learn more.

Flying Goat Cellars and Return to Freedom collaborated on the new wine label, Celebrate Freedom, to benefit the wild horses and burros at Return to Freedom sanctuaries. With the purchase of each $46 bottle of Celebrate Freedom, 40% is contributed to Return to  Freedom. Winemaker Norm Yost created a special bottling of 2019 Pinot Noir from Rio Vista  Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA to launch the project. Purchase at www.flyinggoatcellars.com.

Founded in 2000, Flying Goat Cellars specializes in age-worthy vineyard designated  Pinot Noirs and méthode champenoise sparkling wine crafted by founder/winemaker  Norm Yost. This year Flying Goat is celebrating its 21st birthday and is finally legal to  drink its own wine! Flying Goat Tasting Room is open Thursday – Monday 11am-4pm  and is located at 1520 E. Chestnut Ct. in Lompoc, CA. Reservations are recommended  by not required for a visit. COVID mandates are practiced for the safety of all.
