Downtown Dallas Marketplace Hosts Happy Hours for Wine Lovers With a Safe Virtual Spin

DALLAS, TX (August 26, 2020) – Since their inception, Bullion and Bullion: To-Go have strived to bring new and innovative experiences to the Dallas restaurant industry. Now, the French brasserie is offering an experience designed specifically to be enjoyed in the current climate. Bullion: To-Go will begin hosting Vin Virtual Wine Tastings via YouTube Live Stream every other Thursday. The Vin Virtual Wine Tastings will feature four different wines and each tasting will have a theme, including regional exploration, grape varietals, and food pairings. Led by Bullion: To-Go’s full team of Certified Sommeliers, Andrew Schawel, Julie Braunstein, and a special guest, attendees are invited to explore Bullion’s extensive wine list. The upcoming Vin Virtual Tasting will be held on Thursday, August 27, at 7:30 p.m. and will explore women winemakers, featuring the greatest female winemakers of France.

“We’re thrilled to continue to grow our brand and bring yet another unique experience to the Dallas community,” said Jason Cotton, Vice President of Hospitality for Labora Group. “Our Vin Virtual Wine Tastings are an exciting way to explore and learn about our wines alongside our Sommeliers.”

The cost to participate in the Vin Virtual Wine Tastings is $85 and includes four tasting glasses of wine delivered safely to your doorstep, courtesy of BTG. Themes for the Vin Virtual Tastings include:

  • September 11 – Renegade Winemakers, exploring the winemakers who adventure outside of the traditional styles and methods of their regions. First responders will receive 50% off of their tasting tickets.
  • September 25 – A Whole Cluster of Grapes, a celebration of a winemaking style that utilizes “whole cluster” or “stem inclusion,” the tasting will dive into the complexity and qualities in the wines that result from this technique.
  • October 9 – A Fine Vintage Wine, taking a look into what bottle age does to wine, the tasting will explore four wines with varying ages to observe how a wine evolves.

“Wine tastings are a wonderful way to interact and provide socially-distant experiences for our BTG customers,” said Andrew Schawel, Beverage Director and Sommelier, Bullion: To-Go. “The themes and wines we have selected for each tasting will make for great conversation! We are so looking forward to hosting these tastings.”
