Santa Barbara County Rhone-Focused Label, Epiphany, Introduces Grenache Rosé and Grenache Blanc in Can for Summer

Los Olivos, CA – Epiphany, a Rhone-focused winemaking label in Santa Barbara County, is pleased to share two of its popular wines — Grenache Rosé and Grenache Blanc — in 375 mL can format just in time for the summer months.

“As we mark Epiphany’s 20th anniversary this year, we felt the canned format would be a fun and fresh way to celebrate a label that has evolved over time to always stay contemporary,” said Tim Snider, President. “When we conceived of the project last fall, little did we realize that the 375-mL can (half-bottle equivalent) would be a perfectly portable, personal-sized package for a summer unlike any other.”

The artwork for the cans was inspired by the natural beauty of California as viewed from the Fess Parker Home Ranch and Rodney’s Vineyard: the iconic California poppy for the Grenache Blanc, and hand-drawn roses for the Rosé. The design was done by Buffalo Brothers Studios in Santa Barbara, the same firm that led Epiphany’s original branding when the label launched in 2000.

The Grenache Blanc, aged five months in a 100% stainless steel tank, offers aromas of honeydew and candied ginger. Sip and enjoy flavors of grapefruit, key lime, and Meyer lemon.

The Grenache Rosé was 100%-barrel fermented in neutral French oak for four months in Francois Freres, Mercurey, and Bel Air barrels. This delicate rosé offers up aromas of sour cherry and guava with a refreshing acidity on the palate. Enjoy flavors of pink grapefruit, watermelon, and orange zest.
