Oakwood Strategic to provide communications strategies and brand positioning for farmers and producers of luxury food and beverages
Sacramento, CA, 10 July 2019 – Delicacies that tempt the palate start in the vineyards, field, ranches, and cellars, but often their stories of craft delicious food and wine is not well communicated to consumers. Oakwood Strategic has been started to do just that – tell the growers’ and producers’ stories – the stories of hard work on the farm, in the cellars, in the fields that make it to each of our tables to enjoy.
Building off nearly two decades of experience in managing and positioning stories, developing an international network of writers, chefs, television personalities and media influencers, Oakwood Strategic President Camron King seeks to build these connections into strong growth and recognition opportunities for their clients. “I have had the good fortune of traveling the world promoting and marketing luxury products and teaching people about where their wines and food is coming from – the people, the places, the history, and innovations. I am excited about the opportunity to be working with producers to ensure that their customers, their fans and the world knows about their hard work and the products they are producing.”
King brings a wealth of experience to his clients having served as an executive and ambassador in the California Winegrape and wine industry with numerous focus areas including marketing, public relations, and government affairs and as an executive in a globally distributed California produced caviar company.
Oakwood Strategic was started in early 2019 with the express goal of providing high-caliber communication and public relations services for its clients. As a boutique, independent firm Oakwood Strategic is working with a limited number of clients providing personalized experiences for its clients.
About Oakwood Strategic
As a small independent firm Oakwood Strategic specializes in personalized experiences, catered to luxury food & beverage clients seeking to enhance their image, strengthen relationships and increase their brand presence.
Why the Name? Oakwood pays homage to King’s grandfather and his family who immigrated to the United States from Eeklo, Belgium seeking opportunity and a better life. Eeklo translates loosely to “oak” and “sparse woods.” Further oak is often used in great wine and food production, thus giving it a fantastic double meaning. Strategic is just that, the way in which the firm operates.
