WHAT: With gardening season upon us, join Kendall-Jackson’s talented team of gardening and culinary professionals for a hands-on day of garden exploration and culinary delights. Join in on the fun with UC Master Gardeners of Sonoma County, including Kendall-Jackson’s talented Master Gardener Tucker Taylor, as they show guests how to plant and cultivate the summer’s most delectable produce. Whether you’re looking to increase your backyard garden or start a new urban garden window box of local herbs, the event will provide insight, and feature short seminars with hands-on educational stations, tips from the professionals, and sensory garden plantings with Kendall-Jackson wine pairings. Have you ever wondered how to grow all ingredients for a margherita pizza in one spot? The expert gardeners will show you how to do that perfectly, for a delicious and fresh summer meal, paired with refreshing Kendall-Jackson wines!
The Kendall-Jackson Estate Gardens offer seven distinct garden spaces. Some are educational in nature; some planted solely for beauty; while others provide the fruit, vegetables, and herbs that inspire the Wine & Food pairings created by the Kendall-Jackson culinary team. A veritable cornucopia of beauty and flavor, the approximately four-acre gardens are a core component of Kendall-Jackson’s commitment to wine and food education.
