About Pinea

Pinea is a young winery located in the heart of Ribera del Duero. Pinea’s beginnings take us to the shade of a majestic tree, the Pinus Pinea, which lends its name to a “hand-made” wine crafted with heart: using grapes from old vines between thirty and one hundred years of age, at over 900 meters of altitude, planted in calcareous clay soil. Its high-tolerance terroir allows it to endure an extreme, difficult climate year-round. It is the blend of these characteristics that bring personality, strength and grace to Pinea wine.
