Don Sebastiani & Sons Enters New Era; Retiring COO, Tom Hawkins Passes the Torch to Omar Percich


SONOMA, CA (December 19, 2018) – Current Don Sebastiani & Sons CFO, Omar Percich, is being promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Don Sebastiani & Sons, effective immediately.

Omar Percich, is taking over the position from current COO, Tom Hawkins, who is retiring at the end of the year. Tom has been with Don Sebastiani & Sons for the past 10 years and has been a tremendous force in the growth and success of the company. Prior to his tenure with Don Sebastiani & Sons, Tom was with Beam Global Spirits & Wine for over 26 years.

It is also fortunate that Omar has been able to work directly with Tom to make this a seamless transition. Omar previously worked as Controller and CFO for Foley Family Wines in Napa, CA. Since joining Don Sebastiani & Sons in 2017, he has been pivotal in cementing Don Sebastiani & Sons path for continued success as one of the few remaining family-owned wine businesses.

Omar holds a degree in finance from San Francisco State University and resides in Windsor with his family.
