November 12th, 2018 – A to Z Wineworks, Fetzer Winery, and Cabot Creamery worked with B Lab to create a national ‘Vote Every Day’ B Corp awareness campaign, which launched right after the 2018 mid-term elections. Certified B Corporations, a global community of more than 2,600 businesses, are dedicated to using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. The new campaign urges people to ‘Vote Every Day’ by considering the businesses they support with their dollars.
“People have a voice beyond the ballet box,” says Anthea Kelsick, Chief Marketing Officer of B Lab, the nonprofit that certifies B Corporations. “People have the power to vote for what they believe in everyday by supporting brands that reflect their values. People deserve to know what their money supports, and by choosing B Corps, they can rest assured the products and services they purchase are creating an equitable and just society.”
“We are earnest believers in the power of the B Corporation movement,” says Amy Prosenjak, president of A to Z Wineworks, “which is why we became the world’s only B Corp winery in 2014. Now that the movement has grown, the time is right to better educate shoppers as to how their choices influence economic, environmental, and social outcomes.”
The ‘Vote Every Day’ B Corp campaign launched in New York on Wednesday, November 7th, with a Pop-Up Polling Precinct, a live event where more than 300 visitors learned how to vote for their values by supporting B Corps in their daily choices. The campaign is also being distributed digitally throughout the month of November, reaching millions of people nationally. In highlighting B Corporations such as A to Z Wineworks, Patagonia, and New Belgium Brewing, Vote Every Day will make the ambitious missions of B Corps more visible and accessible.
