Gloria Rivera Joins Silverado Vineyards as Northeast District Sales Manager, Based in New York

NAPA VALLEY, Calif., October 8, 2018 – Silverado Vineyards has appointed Gloria Rivera as Northeast District Sales Manager.  Reporting to Pamela Ford, Sales Director, East, she will be responsible for sales management for the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia.

“We are very excited to have Gloria join Silverado Vineyards as an integral part of the U.S. Wholesale Sales Team,” explains Pamela Ford. “Gloria brings a wealth of wine knowledge and wholesale experience to her role of becoming the face of Silverado Vineyards in the Northeast. We look forward to seeing her sales energy and wine acumen in action as she presents our great estate in some of the most high profile, sophisticated wine markets in the country,” she added.

Rivera holds a WSET Level 2 with distinction certification and over the last ten years she worked for Allied Beverage Group in New Jersey as an On Premise Manager with wide-ranging responsibilities including sales management, innovating brand development and liaising with suppliers.

Earlier in her career she was the manager for Witty’s Fine Wine in Rahway, New Jersey and she also worked in a New Jersey radio station.

She lives in Denver, New York, with her husband and their three cats. She is an avid gardener in her spare time.

Silverado Vineyards was founded in 1981 by Diane Disney Miller and Ron Miller and today owns and farms six estate vineyards totaling 352 acres in the Stags Leap, Yountville, Coombsville, Los Carneros and Napa Valley appellations. The estate vineyards are some of the most distinguished historic properties in the Napa Valley. The winery’s proprietary bottlings, SOLO and GEO, are prized by collectors.

All of Silverado Vineyards’ wines are made entirely from the winery’s estate vineyards.
