Celebrating Those Who Play by Their Own Rules, Faust Wines Collaborates with Renowned Street Artist Faust New York

(NEW YORK, NY, October 3, 2018) – Almost 200 years after they were first written, the words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe – “Live dangerously and you live right” – serve as both inspiration and art for the limited-edition 2016 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Graffiti Magnum, the second vintage collaboration between Faust Wines and legendary street artist Faust New York, which launched today nationwide.

The 2016 Faust Cabernet is a blend of 82 percent Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot from estate vineyards in Coombsville and Rutherford, and mountain sourcing in Atlas Peak, Mount Veeder and Howell Mountain. “The 2016 Faust represents everything I love about Cabernet Sauvignon,” says Jen Beloz, general manager of Faust Wines. “At the core of this wine there is an intense dark fruit profile balanced by a soft, silky tannin structure and lifting acidity that keeps it bright and fresh.”

The collaboration with innovative street artist Faust New York began in 2017 with the first Graffiti Magnum release. Both Fausts are inspired by the German legend of a man who sold his soul for his greatest passion. They share the philosophy of being “damned to eternity doing what you love.”

FAUST 2016 CABERNET SAUVIGNON TASTING NOTES:
