September 25, 2018, Healdsburg, CA – Nominations for the 6th Annual WINnovation Awards presented by the Wine Industry Network opened today. The program is part of the North Bay Business Journal’s (NBBJ) Annual Wine, Spirits & Beer Industry Awards (formerly Wine Industry Awards) that will be presented at a special wine industry reception in the first week of December.
The Wine Industry Network created the “WINnovation” Awards as a way to identify and honor the most innovative industry suppliers and service professionals. These awards recognize companies that have developed ground-breaking products, practices, and have contributed to the advancement of the North American wine industry.
Many of the past WINnovation Award winners continue to set the highest standard in their field and push forward innovations that advance the industry for all.
The awards event is the official kick-off to a week-long industry celebration that will culminate with the 7th Annual WIN Expo: North Coast Wine Industry Trade Show & Conference held at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds on December 6th, 2018.
“The WINnovation Awards were designed as a way for us to celebrate the many innovative industry suppliers that strive to move the industry forward,” said George Christie, Wine Industry Network President. “It’s a great time of year to come together to recognize their efforts and honor their achievements.”
Winners of this year’s “WINnovation” Awards will be featured in a special Business Journal report and the awards will be presented at the NBBJ Wine, Spirits & Beer Industry Awards reception on December 4, 2018 at the Doubletree in Rohnert Park, California.
