Sonoma, Calif. (September 25, 2018) – Moobuzz Wines from 3 Badge Beverage Corporation is reprising its successful Nourishing a Better Tomorrow Turkey Drive. For every case of Moobuzz wine sold, one pound of turkey will be donated to local programs across the country feeding those in need this Thanksgiving.
One in five people in America go hungry every day and Moobuzz wants to make a difference for hungry families on the most thankful day of the year.
“We wanted to create an easy way for people to support those in need during the holidays,” said August Sebastiani, president of 3 Badge Beverage Corporation. “Last year’s turkey drive was successful, but we want to do even more this year.”
Moobuzz launched the Nourishing a Better Tomorrow Turkey Drive in 2017 and donated more than 500 turkeys, which fed over 5,000 people. This year, the goal is to donate at least 625 turkeys to local charities across the country that feed those in need on Thanksgiving.
Showing strong growth since last year, Moobuzz enjoyed 162.8% growth in case distribution in the last 52 weeks, according to Nielsen. The Moobuzz portfolio consists of Paso Robles Pinot Grigio, Monterey Chardonnay, Monterey Pinot Noir, Central Coast Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre and Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon. All of these wines will contribute to the Turkey Drive, which will run through October. Moobuzz wines are distributed nationally.
