Pre-launch Access Available To Join For Curated Wines Delivered Direct
AMHERST, NH – August 6, 2018 – Ahtel Wines, a passionate importer of artisan, elusive wines from Central Europe, today announced the launch of Brilliant Wines Club. This unique wine club was created to help consumers satisfy their “winederlust” and discover artisan wines from emerging regions of which they might not otherwise have access.
“It’s often difficult for consumers to find artisan, small-production wines from emerging regions at traditional retailers in the US,” stated Ahtel Wines CEO and Managing Director, Amanda Wilson. “Traditional distribution limits consumers access even if these small producers had the marketing dollars to expand in the US. We are solving that by offering these wines direct to consumers through the club and ecommerce shop.”
Brilliant Wines Club will offer members quarterly shipments of curated wines from Central Europe, beginning with Moravia, Czech Republic. Moravia produces 96% of the wine from the Czech Republic and with the exception of those very familiar with various wine regions, most people have likely never heard of it. Yet Moravia produces some of the most interesting wines in the world right now. The region has a history of winemaking that goes back centuries, and winemakers are producing beautiful, expressive wines that are winning international competitions, while also defining the unique characteristics that set them apart from wines of the world. Czechs consume more wine than they produce, so there is very little Moravian wine available outside the country. So unless you’ve visited Prague, you likely have never tasted one.
Club members can select to have 3 and 6 bottle shipments for $69 and $129 respectively. Club wines will be offered for reorder and at a discounted price for members. Early bird members who signup during the pre-launch period will receive an additional special gift in their first shipment. Gift cards and gift memberships will also be available.
“Our travels exposed us to some brilliant wines from craftsmen and families that we were obsessed to find in the United States,” stated Heidi Wettach, COO and Managing Director. “What started off as a selfish endeavor to acquire these wines in the US ourselves, has turned into a new offering for others who have the same ‘winederlust.’ We have met each of the winemakers and worked in partnership with them to bring these wines into the US.
