Accolade Wines introduces stylish Italian wine, at the intersection of rosé and sparkling wine categories, to a market that can’t get enough pink wine and bubbles

Healdsburg, CA – Accolade Wines North America introduces Da Luca Sparkling Rosé to the U.S. market, where wine lovers and casual wine drinkers alike can’t quench their thirst for pink wine. This elegant sparkling rosé is an equal blend of Merlot and Raboso from the Veneto region in Northern Italy with a fruity bouquet and vibrant notes of raspberry and strawberry.

Located in the heart of Sicily, Da Luca was founded as a celebration of everything great about Sicilian wine. As the brand’s popularity grew, the winemaking team took their flair for creativity to other regions of Italy renowned for high quality, authentically Italian wines. To create Da Luca Sparkling Rosé, the winemaking team worked closely with small grower-producers around the Veneto region.

“Prosecco is leading the way with consumers in enjoyment of sparkling wines,” says Senior Brand Manager Stephanie Hahn. “So, as part of the Da Luca family, our Da Luca Sparkling Rosé is well positioned to capitalize on these continually growing trends of both rosé and sparkling wine consumption,” she continues.

Da Luca Prosecco has increased market share and penetration and enjoyed nearly 60 percent growth year over year according to Nielsen data. Nielsen reports that sales of still rosé have risen sixty-five percent since 2017. Meanwhile, sparkling rosé sales jumped by sixteen percent.

The suggested retail price for Da Luca Sparkling Rosé is $13.99. The wine is distributed nationally through Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and others.
