Mendocino County, Calif.—May 14, 2018—Fetzer Vineyards, a leader in sustainable winegrowing committed to restoring, revitalizing and regenerating ecosystems and communities while producing premium wines, has hired Taylor Johnsen as the Senior Brand Manager for Bonterra and 1000 Stories.

In this newly created role, Johnsen will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing goals and objectives for one of Fetzer Vineyards’ most successful brand innovations: 1000 Stories. In addition, Johnsen will contribute to direct-to-consumer related marketing initiatives for Bonterra. Johnsen will report to Director of Marketing Rachel Newman.

“Bonterra and 1000 Stories are two incredible brands that will greatly benefit from Taylor’s expertise in brand strategy,” Newman said. “We look forward to working with Taylor on the brand growth and development of Bonterra and 1000 Stories.”

Johnsen joins Fetzer Vineyards from E&J Gallo Winery, where she grew her career in marketing, hospitality and sales-related roles for the past 15 years. Most recently, she was Senior Associate Brand Manager for one of Gallo’s more recent acquisitions in Healdsburg—J Vineyards and Winery—where she led brand strategy and initiative development for the producer of sparkling and varietal wines. Prior to J, Johnsen worked as Associate Brand Manager for the Louis M. Martini and Ghost Pine brands.

Johnsen is thrilled to join Fetzer Vineyards at such an exciting time—the winery is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018 and seeing strong growth for its Bonterra and 1000 Stories brands.
