le(May 8, 2018; Oakville, CA)—Tom Gamble, owner of Oakville-based Gamble Family Vineyards, is delighted to partner with Somnium Wine and Amizetta Vineyards for a one-of-a-kind collaborative, live vintner lot for the 2018 Auction Napa Valley.
The luxurious package features three days of activities, including a hayride vineyard tour and dinner at Gamble Family Vineyards, a three-night stay at the Amizetta Farmhouse and a ride around the 12-turn Sonoma Raceway road course with famed racecar driver Danica Patrick. The lot also includes live performances by country music sensations Lucas Hoge and Honey County, whom were both recently included in Rolling Stone’s list of ‘10 New Country Artists You Need to Know.’ The auction lot winner will experience a private, guided wine tasting seminar with Master Sommelier Matt Stamp and indulge in sit-down dinners alongside Tom Gamble, Danica Patrick, Eddie Clark, Lucas Hoge and the members of Honey County. Additionally, the package also features four bottles of the 2014 Gamble Cairo Cabernet Sauvignon signed by Tom Gamble and Winemaker Jim Close, as well as wines from Amizetta Estate and Somnium Wine.
“We’re excited about our partnership and the incredible auction lot we’ve assembled this year,” says Tom Gamble. “As a community, we know we are stronger together. We work with other small wineries throughout the year to create wonderful live lots for a multitude of charities and we’re honored to participate in Auction Napa Valley and help support the local community.”
Since its inception in 1981, Auction Napa Valley has invested $180 million in local not-for-profit organizations. Auction Napa Valley will take place from Thursday, May 31st, 2018 – Sunday, June 2nd, 2018. For more information, please click here.
About Gamble Family Vineyards:
Founded by third-generation farmer Tom Gamble in 2005, Gamble Family Vineyards farms approximately 175 acres of prime estate vineyards from many of Napa’s most respected AVAs—Oakville, Mt. Veeder, Rutherford and Yountville. Its winery and by-invitation-only tasting room have a quiet presence, sitting modestly in an isolated nook off Highway 29 in the heart of Napa Valley’s Oakville AVA. Set back from the main road, Gamble’s mission here is to carry on the heritage of farming that his ancestors sowed when they came to Napa as farmers in 1916. With a primary focus on Bordeaux varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, all of Gamble Family Vineyards’ wines are produced in small quantities, with careful attention to farming. Winemaker Jim Close has been with Gamble Family Vineyards since its inception.
