DAVIS, Calif. — Join fellow members of the American wine and grape industry at UC Davis Extension’s 27th Annual OIV Wine Marketing Program to learn how industry experts successfully create a brand, market and sell wine in the United States. Gain practical, real-world knowledge for navigating the U.S. wine market, from brand establishment to distribution and sales and everything in between.
As part of the M.Sc. in Wine Management of the Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin (OIV), UC Davis Extension and the UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology have been coordinating this program for more than 25 years. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get one-on-one access to the industry’s best, including winemakers, sommeliers, attorneys, accountants, wine marketers, distributors, retailers, leaders of trade associations and educators from the University of California. “A lot of the speakers have an incredible amount of experience in the industry and are very open to chat later and offline. It’s super valuable to have those connections,” said 2017 OIV participant Cory Michal.
Featuring exceptional networking opportunities, the interactive program also allows students to make critical connections with peers from across the globe. “This program was nothing short of phenomenal,” said Kim Hartleroad, owner/winemaker of Blue Cape Cellars in Buellton, Calif. “I was able to interact with students internationally who are also all wine professionals. I highly recommend it.”
The 27th Annual OIV Wine Marketing Program is now open for enrollments.
