Departure of Guillaume Deglise, Vinexpo’s Chief Executive

Bordeaux, April 5th, 2018 – Vinexpo, the international wine and spirits event, announces its Chief Executive Guillaume Deglise will be leaving the company right after the Hong Kong exhibition scheduled to take place 29 to 31 May 2018.

Guillaume Deglise will be embracing new career projects after he successfully fulfilled the goals that were commonly defined with the Bordeaux-Gironde Chamber of Commerce when he joined Vinexpo.

Guillaume Deglise started his career in Champagne, before being appointed Chief Executive of Vinexpo in 2013. Under his leadership, the company undertook the recovery of its flagship Vinexpo Bordeaux and the strong development of Vinexpo Hong Kong, the leading wine and spirits event in Asia-Pacific. Deglise also launched new exhibitions in Tokyo (2014) New York (2018) and Paris (scheduled in 2020) as well as Vinexpo Explorer, a business convention concept in the vineyards.
