Benovia Winery, a special, small production, family-owned winery in the heart of Sonoma County’s famed Russian River Valley, recently renovated their tasting room to meet demand and increase capacity, as their popularity grows. Known as the “Ranch House,” Benovia’s tasting room is now open for tasting appointments in a secluded, relaxed country setting. A hidden gem waiting to be discovered, the winery produces some of the region’s most expressive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Benovia is a rising star and has already garnered a following among critics and Pinot Noir enthusiasts who vie for its limited production single-vineyard wines.

Benovia’s tasting room, which was once a house on a working ranch, has been refreshed with floor-to-ceiling windows, rustic wood floors, and a refinished fireplace, giving the room a more modern palette, while retaining the simplicity and welcoming ambiance of the original house. Guests will now enjoy leisurely seated tastings with Benovia’s knowledgeable, attentive staff while relaxing in plush, cozy swivel chairs gathered around the sleek, new fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoors in – an abundance of natural light plus sweeping views of Benovia’s Martaella estate vineyard and Mount St. Helena. On warm days, guests will enjoy a new lounge on the Ranch House’s deck.

Benovia’s recently released spring wines are now available to taste. Tastings are by appointment only from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are priced at $30 per person. Appointments can be made at BenoviaWinery.com, by calling (707) 921-1040, or by emailing WineryVisits@BenoviaWinery.com.
