Wilson Artisan Wines Opens Rockpile Vineyards Tasting Room on the Healdsburg Roundabout

March 29, 2018Geyserville, CA– Wilson Artisan Wines has opened a new tasting room for recently launched winery brand, Rockpile Vineyards. The tasting room is located at 206 Healdsburg Avenue on the Healdsburg Roundabout and will be open daily from 11AM to 6PM.

Rockpile Vineyards is the newest wine brand launched by Ken Wilson and features wines from winemakers Diane Wilson, Chris Barrett and Antoine Favero. Grapes for the Rockpile Vineyards wines are sourced from acclaimed Rockpile growers such as Jack Florence, along with fruit from the Rockpile Ranch estate. Rockpile Ranch, owned by the Wilsons since 2014, was previously owned by Rod & Catherine Park, who were the first in the modern era to grow wine grapes and produce wine from the rugged Rockpile region high above Lake Sonoma.

With a focus on Zinfandel, Rockpile Vineyards offers 13 wines from the Rockpile AVA including two Cabernet Sauvignons, one Meritage, one Red Blend and 9 Zinfandels. Rockpile Vineyards’ first release of wines have already received acclaim taking home 9 Gold Medals in the 2018 San Francisco Chronicle wine competition.
