First Annual Wine Marketing Awards Open for Nominations

—2018 Wine Marketing Exchange introduces the inaugural Vinnie Awards, presented by Vinventions, Wine Business Monthly and The Wine Business Institute at Sonoma State University—

Napa Valley, CA (March 29, 2018) —  Wine industry leader Vinventions announced today the launch of the first annual wine marketing Vinnie Awards for recognizing marketing excellence in the wine industry, and the open call for nominations. Winners will be announced at the upcoming 2018 Wine Marketing Exchange on May 3, 2018 at Sonoma State University’s Wine Business Institute and hosted in partnership with Wine Business Monthly.

Entries and third-party nominations can be submitted now through April 20, 2018 at thevinnies.org. Marketing creative, events or campaigns that ran in the 2017 calendar year are eligible, and will be judged by a panel of marketing experts from both inside and outside the wine industry. The 2018 Vinnies offer awards in four categories: Print Advertising, Digital Marketing, Experiential Marketing and Integrated Marketing Campaigns.

The awards will be presented in conjunction with the Wine Marketing Exchange, the annual marketing forum for senior wine industry executives hosted by Vinventions. This year’s theme is Breaking Conventions: The insights, technology and people disrupting the wine industry. All Vinnie Award finalists will be invited to attend the sold-out event.
