Silver Trident Membership & Industry Relations Manager recognized for “BANG”

Yountville, Napa Valley 2018 —- Mallory Uran McEligot, Silver Trident Winery’s Membership & Industry Relations Manager, has been awarded the 2018 Rising Wine Star Award for Marketer of the Year by The Luxury Marketing Council of San Francisco.

The award was presented on stage at the Council’s 6th Annual Wineries Boot Camp on February 28 at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville, in the presence of 300 wine industry marketing, sales and hospitality influentials, representing more than 90 Napa and Sonoma wineries and wine-related organizations.

Uran McEligot received the award in recognition of an industry group she founded, BANG, the By Appointment Networking Group. Established in 2014, BANG’s mission has been to partner highly-selective by-appointment wineries with other comparable businesses (including concierges, chauffeurs and caterers), allowing them to provide elevated services to their clientele.

“For me the BANG group is all about Silver Trident Winery and trying to help grow our DTC business through my relationships in BANG,” Uran McEligot said. “We have seen multiple referrals from BANG every month which result in new club sign-ups and revenue for the winery. The b2b connections are truly priceless when we all work together. Our motto is ‘a rising tide lifts all boats,’” she added. A fifth-generation Napan, Uran McEligot also writes a blog, VineLiving, https://www.vine-living.com, an insider’s guide to Napa Valley.

Other Rising Stars Awards acknowledge outstanding Napa and Sonoma wine industry achievers and achievements in the categories of Winery of the Year, Winemaker of the Year, The Community Service Award and The Hospitality & Guest Relations Award.

“Mallory has an integral role in the success of Silver Trident Winery and is a tireless contributor and promoter of the Napa Valley. We are really proud of Mallory for receiving this award in recognition of her great work and talent,” commented Shane Soldinger, General Manager, Silver Trident Winery.

“The rationale behind the Rising Wine Stars Awards is to acknowledge wine industry candidates who, among a select, stellar group of rising stars (individuals and organizations), are building reputations and conquering a marketplace now driven by changing demographics and uncharted opportunity, and who epitomize the new generation changing the face of the wine industry in California, specifically Napa and Sonoma,” explains Alf Nucifora, Chairman of  The Luxury Marketing Council of San Francisco. He explained that a 12-person panel of respected industry influentials made the final selections from 198 nominations across all five award categories.

BANG

The By-Appointment Networking Group hosts private events at wineries, hotels, and restaurants. Local businesses showcase their offerings to a focused group of industry professionals. BANG’s extensive network works together to generate new business and revenue for all participating members. BANG currently has 300 members, who meet monthly and introduce members to new winery partners and other industry speakers through a marketplace-style tasting event. The organization also offers job postings on its private social media channels. More at https://www.bangnapavalley.com/ .
