February 1, 2018 – Starting the 5th of February, Rick Laxague will begin his new role as a consultant at Convergence Consulting Group. With over to twenty years working in the three-tier system Rick has rose from a restaurant manager, to beer distribution sales, to training salesman, to running a craft beer division and most recently built a national account division for a top 40 craft brewery.
Rick can explain, show and practice basic sales steps and techniques to gain the business and close the sale. He has a great vision of perspective from consumer, salesman, supplier and retailer. In the cluttered beverage categories today, it is vital for stakeholder in a beverage organization to understand the process from recipe to why the consumer pulls it off the shelf.
Rick will be joining the staff at Convergence Consulting to share his knowledge and is excited for this next chapter and to continue working in the craft beverage industry both locally and at the regional and national scale.
