Napa, Calif., January 31, 2018— Ackerman Family Vineyards has promoted Kristie Fondario to director of sales and marketing. In her new role, Fondario directs both wholesale and consumer direct sales and marketing for Ackerman Family Vineyards wines as well as events, partnerships and programs at “The Aviary” tasting room and Ackerman Heritage House, a 1888 Queen Ann Victorian home in downtown Napa restored by proprietor Lauren Ackerman that showcases curated food, wine and event experiences.
Fondario joined Ackerman Family Vineyards in 2016 as sales and marketing manager. Prior to Ackerman Family Vineyards, she assisted with direct to consumer sales and partnerships for Sojourn Cellars in Sonoma and planned events, created custom leisure itineraries as a client experience and event specialist for Viviani Destination Management. Before moving to California, she was director of sales for Owera Vineayrds in New York, an estate with a tasting room, private events space and café. Fondario graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with degrees in both Hospitality and Service Management and Business Management.
