NEW YORK, NY (Friday, January 26, 2018) – Global Spirits has appointed several new key account managers as it expands its presence on the east coast. These include Bralmary Batista in New Jersey, and industry veterans Evelyn Gonzalez and Carlos Ramirez in New York.
“New Jersey was one of the first markets our company opened, and our Khortytsa and LEAF Vodka brands have a strong presence off-premise,” says Jose Guerrero, national sales director, north, Global Spirits USA. “However, with aggressive sales goals in place for 2018, we’re looking to put a stronger focus on our Odessa V.S.O.P. Brandy as well as on premise listings for KHOR and LEAF.”
Ms. Batista will be emphasizing the use of Odessa as a key ingredient in Sangria at on premise accounts in Northern NJ, as well as focusing on the current “spicy” cocktail trend, where KHOR Hot Honey Pepper has been a favorite among mixologists.
“We’re seeing more mixologists experimenting with bolder flavors, and KHOR’s Hot Honey Pepper is gaining ground as a result,” says Batista.
With New York State comprising a large geographic area and the brands’ rapid growth in the Metro market and Long Island, Guerrero has brought on two industry veterans he believes can take Global Spirits to new heights. Gonzalez is a 20-year veteran with deep experience working with distributors, while Ramirez brings solid brand development experience from his tenure with both Heineken and Remy Martin.
