(January 10, 2018) – Crimson Wine Group (OTCQB: CWGL), which crafts benchmark wines from exceptional vineyards in premier wine-growing regions throughout the U.S., today announced the retirement of Ian M. Cumming from the company’s Board of Directors. Cumming has been a director since 1994, and served as the chairman of Crimson’s Board of Directors from 2008 – 2015. His seat will remain vacant until a successor is elected. “Ian Cumming is a visionary and the driving force behind the formation of Crimson Wine Group and its focus on quality. Following the initial 1991 investment in Pine Ridge Vineyards, Cumming is credited with the foresight and leadership to invest in Oregon with the creation of Archery Summit in the early 1990s, the acquisition of prime Washington vineyard land in the mid-2000s and was instrumental in helping foster the company’s subsequent expansion and development of an outstanding portfolio. Today, Crimson’s benchmark wine estates include Pine Ridge Vineyards, Seghesio Family Vineyards, and Chamisal Vineyards in California; Archery Summit in Oregon; and Double Canyon and Seven Hills Winery in Washington.
