Hunter to soon celebrate two decades with Russian River Valley family-owned winery
Santa Rosa, California (January 8, 2018) – Balletto Vineyards, one of the few family-owned estate wineries in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley AVA, has promoted Monica Hunter to Director of Administrative Services. She was previously Manager of Administrative Services for Balletto Vineyards, where she’s worked for 19 years.
“Monica has been with Balletto since 1998, starting to work for us when we were just growing vegetables, and no grapes or wine,” said John Balletto, owner and founder of Balletto Vineyards. Monica and I have been through the trenches together, and I know I can rely on her to get things done. I can’t say enough how fortunate we are to have her on the Balletto team. She does so much for us behind the scenes and is a big part of our company`s success. Congratulations, Monica, on your well-deserved promotion.”
In her role, Hunter leads all administrative activities for the Balletto family’s winery and grape growing businesses. Prior to working for the Balletto family, she was a business manager for several Northern California school districts.
“I started with John and Terri when we were still doing produce, and what an adventure produce can be,” Hunter said. “It has been a wonderful journey working alongside John and Terri watching the winery and vineyards grow to where we are today. The two have made me feel like I am part of their family. Working here is a true pleasure.”
Balletto Vineyards is located at 5700 Occidental Road, Santa Rosa, California, 95401. The tasting room is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., where they pour single vineyard Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and other estate wines from Russian River Valley. No appointments are necessary for groups of 10 people or fewer.
