November 16, 2017 – Korbel California Champagne today released the latest television ad in the brand’s award-winning “Celebrate It All®” series called “Polar Splash.” The TV spot hinges on a comedic misdirect and features an assumed star athlete swimmer preparing to compete. However, it is revealed that he and his friends are actually participating in a polar splash – jumping into cold water in winter weather – then toasting the adventure with Korbel.

While consumers sometimes save bubbly for the big moments in life, the campaign aims to inspire consumers to ‘Celebrate It All®’ and toast everyday occasions, big and small.

Korbel relied on the creative minds of PriceWeber, a full-service digital advertising agency, to develop the campaign series.

“Polar Splash” will run on NBC, Animal Planet, Bravo, E!, Comedy Central, the Food Network, HGTV, OWN, TLC and VH1 beginning today through December 31. Click here to view the spot on Korbel’s YouTube Channel.

About Korbel

Established in 1882 in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, Korbel Champagne Cellars produces the United States’ most popular méthode champenoise champagne. But, the true measure of Korbel’s success during its 135 years can be seen in the impact it’s had on American consumers and its presence at various celebrations throughout the years. Owned and managed by the Heck family since 1954, Korbel currently makes eleven California champagnes and a limited amount of still wine. In a separate facility, Korbel also produces one of the country’s most respected brandies.
