Mery-Melrose Organic VS and VSOP Cognacs are artisan-crafted, delicately styled and produced in limited quantities by fourth generation master distiller François Méry. Distillation is in an old copper Charentais Still, and François distills the same way as his father and grandfather, by double distillation of naturally fermented wine and lees to obtain the quintessence of the local terroir, Grande Champagne. The eye-catching, contemporary labels speaks directly to the life in the soil and the health of the vineyards resulting from sustainable, organic farming practices.
