NAPA VALLEY, Calif. – October 5, 2017 – Cuvaison Estate Wines, which includes Cuvaison in the Los Carneros region of Napa Valley, and Brandlin Vineyard on Mount Veeder, is excited to announce the appointment of Jaki Palacios to the role of director of marketing and the promotion of Steve Richards to VP of domestic and international sales. Palacios and Richards will join a progressive new leadership team led by industry veteran Dan Zepponi, who joined the company in November of 2016 as president and CEO.
As director of marketing, Jaki Palacios will utilize her extensive industry expertise and marketing acumen to further expand awareness about Cuvaison and Brandlin, while reaching out to new consumers and supporting the efforts of the company’s trade partners. Palacios began her career in wine at Constellation Brands, where she was the associate marketing manager for Robert Mondavi Private Selection. Since then, Palacios has served as account supervisor at NSight Connect, specializing in digital marketing, brand manager, Kroger beer and wine at WX, and most recently, brand manager for C. Mondavi and Family, where she led the repositioning of the Charles Krug brand.
With his promotion from VP of domestic sales to VP of international and domestic sales, Steve Richards will be responsible for expanding the global presence for both Brandlin and Cuvaison. “With combined distribution in 22 countries, Cuvaison is known as one of North America’s iconic wineries, with our wines recognized as benchmarks for excellence. I’m excited to continue sharing the Cuvaison story, and the equally exciting story of Brandlin, with our international customers,” says Richards. Prior to joining Cuvaison Estate Wines in 2010, Richards spent a decade at St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery, where he served as national sales manager.
