Sonoma Valley Winery Renowned for Unique Varietals Brings Creative Spirit to New Nationally Available Wines

Glen Ellen, Calif. – September 19, 2017 – Imagery Estate Winery today announced the launch of a nationally-available collection of California appellated wines, including a 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. With this collection, Imagery continues to broaden consumers’ palates by blending unique varietals in with each wine to elevate flavor profiles. The Imagery California Sauvignon Blanc is blended with 20% Muscat, the Chardonnay with 5% Chenin Blanc, the Pinot Noir with 10% Petit Verdot and the Cabernet Sauvignon with 15% Petite Sirah.

Winemaker Jamie Benziger worked alongside her father, Imagery founder and winemaker Joe Benziger, to artfully craft the wines for this collection. “My dad and I have always shared a passion for adventurous winemaking at Imagery,” says Jamie. “Now we’re taking that a step further with our new California tier, demonstrating our commitment to creativity in winemaking as we introduce this new collection to wine drinkers around the country.”

Based in Sonoma Valley, Imagery has long been dedicated to an unconventional approach to winemaking and blending. Joe Benziger founded the winery in the mid 1980’s with the goal of approaching winemaking with curiosity, playing by his own rules. “I started Imagery with a desire to share my interest in rare, often esoteric varietals,” says Joe Benziger. “I believe that all wine lovers should have the chance to experience non-traditional varietals. Working alongside my daughter as we apply our winemaking approach to this new California tier is a dream come true.”

Aside from honoring unique wine varietals, Imagery has always demonstrated a commitment to creativity through its relationship with art. The Imagery Estate Tasting Room in Glen Ellen is home to one of the world’s largest wine label art collections. For this new collection of wines, Imagery will feature an iconic paint drip image, which represents the creativity and passion in each bottle of Imagery wine.

The California tier of Imagery Wines will retail for $19.99. For more information about Imagery Estate Winery and where to find the wines, please visit https://imagerywinery.com/.
