About the Book

Wine Country Women of Napa Valley is the first of what will be a series of books from Wine Country Women, LLC. The next in line to be published will be on the women of Sonoma County.

Wine Country Women of Napa Valley is a compilation of family recipes, traditions, and stories from more than 60 Napa Valley women who have infused the region with their leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. Their stories offer an intimate glimpse into the families behind the vineyards, restaurants, and businesses that define California’s historic wine country. Recipes and full-color photographs embrace the bold and lively spirit of Napa Valley. Each woman featured explains her recipe’s significance and history and offers a tailored wine pairing from a Napa Valley vineyard.

Wine Country Women of Napa Valley includes contributions from some of the valley’s most prominent women and oldest families, including Gina Gallo of E&J Gallo Winery, Hilary Newsom of The PlumpJack Group, Violet Grgich of Grgich Hills Estate, Reagan Rombauer of Rombauer Vineyards, Carissa Mondavi of Continuum Estate, Genevieve Janssens of Robert Mondavi Vineyards, and Shannon Staglin of Staglin Family Vineyards, among many others.
