Maryland Wine Festival, Oldest State Wine Festival, Returning to Carroll County This September

Event will Feature Over 150 Maryland Wines, Nearly 70 Craft and Food Vendors and Maryland Cheese Pavilion

August 7, 2017, (Baltimore, MD) – Over 150 Maryland wines will be featured at the Maryland Wine Festival, now in its 34th year! Whether you like a sparkling white, a smooth red, a tasty rosé or anything in between, there will be something for everyone at the Maryland Wine Festival set to take place at the Carroll County Farm Museum (500 South Center Street Westminster, MD) on Saturday, September 16 from 10 am- 6 pm and on Sunday, September 17 from 11 am- 6 pm. This weekend long event, brought to you by the Carroll County Farm Museum and the Maryland Wineries Association, will feature wine tastings from nearly 30 wineries from all across the state as well as live music, craft vendors, food and an opportunity to explore the historic Carroll County Farm Museum.  General Admission tickets are $30 on Saturday and $25 on Sunday, VIP tickets are $50 on Saturday and $45 on Sunday, Designated Drivers and guests ages 13-20 are $20, and children 12 and under are admitted free. The VIP Pass will allow guests to sample from an exclusive tented area that will highlight the state’s premium & award winning wines as well as access to the Hilltop Hangout, equipped with shaded picnic tables, private bathrooms, bottled water, and more.  The Maryland Cheese Pavilion will highlight a broad selection of Free State cheeses open to the public.

New this year, Group Rate Pre-Sale passes are available for $20.00 (Valid Sunday only). Group must consist of 20 or more attendees and all passes must be purchased at the same time. Group Rate passes are sold online only through Sept.1, 2017. Designated Driver, VIP Passes and children’s tickets are not part of the group sales. Ticketholders can upgrade to the VIP Pass on site the day of the event for an additional fee.
