Rutherford, California (July 26, 2017)— Round Pond Estate announces the appointment of Michael Connolly to the role of Northeast Regional Sales Manager. Michael will cover the territory that consists of 13 states and the District of Columbia including NY, NJ, PA, DE, CT, MA, MD, ME, VT, NH, RI, VA & WV.
Round Pond Estate, owned and operated by brother and sister team Miles and Ryan MacDonnell, specializes in estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oils, red wine vinegars, artisan citrus syrups and hands-on, garden-to-table guest experiences.

Michael brings over 30 years of distributor and supplier sales and management experience to Round Pond Estate. He will be responsible for the execution of Round Pond Estate’s distribution goals within the Northeast region for both on and off-premise sectors.
Prior to joining the Round Pond Estate team, Michael worked with Peerless Importers/Empire Merchants, Lauber Imports, the Winebow Group, and Emeritus Vineyards. He also has considerable experience creating beverage programs in the restaurant industry. Michael has tremendous passion for wine and continues to educate himself in all aspects of winemaking and viticulture.
Michael has two children, Maeve and Quinn. He enjoys music, traveling, and yoga. He is a graduate of Boston College.
