Chicago’s Fulton Market District Takes Center Stage for Summer Wine Events with Wine Channel TV and Formento’s
CHICAGO, IL (June 12, 2017) — Wine Channel TV and Formento’s are giving Chicago area wine drinkers a reason to celebrate with the launch of Sips of Summer wine events in the dynamic Fulton Market District of Chicago. The series of 6 themed wine events from June through September, kicks off on June 29, 2017 featuring a “Tastes of Sicily” theme.
“This is such an exciting time for wine and food enthusiasts here in Chicago, and around the world,” said Jessica Altieri, CEO-Certified Sommelier, Wine Channel TV. “We are creating a fun and interactive evening with fantastic bites from Formento’s and bringing to life some of the world’s great wine brands.”

These 2 hour “live experience” events will feature a wine tasting led by Jessica Altieri, a signature food pairing by Chef Todd Stein, bites from Formento’s and beverages by the sponsor wine brand, interaction with lifestyle brands, Facebook Live streaming with special guests and a raffle.
Formento’s and Wine Channel TV will continue to announce the upcoming themes, dates and sponsors for the remaining Sips of Summer events in the coming weeks.
