LIVERMORE, Calif. – March 23, 2017 – Developed to celebrate the beauty and elegance of the vineyard and everyday moments, the AVA Grace Wine Collection debuted nationally with a line of beautiful wines including a Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Red Blend, and Merlot.
The AVA Grace collection celebrates the delicate beauty and rich terrain of the vineyard where sunshine, soil, and vibrant flavors abound. AVA, meaning life, is truly the inspiration behind the collection. The life found weaving in and out of the vines everyday add layers of depth and complexity to each varietal, from how long the grapes were touched by the sun to the fragrant wildflowers blooming freely throughout the vineyard. AVA Grace promises graceful moments with every long-lasting sip.
When creating AVA Grace wines, Winemaker Andrea Beltran carefully sourced grapes from prime vineyards with rich terrain. The result of Andrea’s hard work is a classic collection of high-quality, affordable and approachable wines to be enjoyed with family and friends.
- 2015 Chardonnay– Balanced acidity and bright fruit flavors of white peach, apple and lemon. The smooth finish has rich notes of almonds and vanilla, with a delicate touch of oak.
- 2015 Sauvignon Blanc– Boasts notes of tropical fruit flavors and balanced acidity. Fresh aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry and melon fill the nose while the rich body leads to a refined finish on the palate.
- Red Blend– Notes of blackberries and raspberries, with hints of spice. The palate is clean, with flavors of cranberries, roses and a touch of rhubarb. A lingering finish is touched by notes of vanilla and dark cherries.
- 2014 Merlot – Aromas of red fruit fill the nose while notes of berry, vanilla and spice linger on the palate.
The national debut of these wines will inspire wine drinkers with a thoughtful approach to winemaking and stunning front label design. “In crafting the wines of AVA Grace, I wanted to bring people along on the journey from grape to glass, and celebrate every moment in between,” said Winemaker Andrea Beltran, who hails from a family of farmers. “The resulting wines are true expressions of each varietal – balanced, fruit-forward and never overpowering.”
