Yountville, Napa Valley, February 2017 — The stylish Silver Trident Winery Tasting Home is celebrating its first year with a re-invention of its upstairs loft space. Founded in 2015, Silver Trident Winery Tasting Home offers an elegant, residential-style interior designed by Trevor R. Howells, exclusively furnished with Ralph Lauren Home. The intimate setting welcomes guests to enjoy a selection of exquisite Silver Trident wines as they browse through the Tasting Home. The well-appointed living room, dining room and library capture Ralph Lauren Home’s timeless thoroughbred lifestyle with furniture and lighting, fine area rugs and decorative accessories.

The open loft space upstairs is an inviting, one-of-a-kind setting for tastings and private receptions, whether social or business. “We’ve created an exceptionally warm and richly detailed setting for private lunches or dinners and corporate meetings,” explains Bob Binder, founder of Silver Trident Winery. “Furthering our offering from Ralph Lauren Home, we have re-envisioned our loft as a relaxed yet sophisticated setting with extensive artwork, new lighting and draperies in a modern equestrian sensibility,” he adds. Carefully curated iconic Ralph Lauren Home pieces which are now part of the loft décor and available for purchase include the Quincy floor lamp in Vintage Oak, inspired by an antique French surveyor’s tripod; the industrial inspired RL ’67 Boom Arm table lamp in Bronze; and the River Reed Stripe area rug, crafted in the texture of Indian dhurrie flatweaves. Displayed on the 30-foot long solid mahogany table are decorative accessories and entertaining pieces from the Ralph Lauren Home Wentworth Collection including the coordinating cocktail shaker, corkscrew, jigger and ice bucket. Above the table for 20 guests hang three handsome Westbury Double-Tier Chandeliers, exuding an equestrian-inspired elegance.

The loft walls are adorned with 22 new artworks in salon style, including famous images of Hollywood stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Paul Newman and James Dean, as well as other celebrities. Photographs, watercolors and paintings convey an aura of elegance, depicting nautical and equestrian motifs. Many of the art pieces are part of the Ralph Lauren Home collection; Shelli Breidenbach, Anders Aldrin and Robert Boyle are some of the additional artists whose original works have been curated by interior designer Trevor Howells.

Trevor Howells, based in Los Angeles, is a commercial and residential interior designer who spent 20 years in New York as a Senior Creative Director for Ralph Lauren Home.
“We wanted to layer the space to make it a very welcoming environment for wine tasting and socializing. It’s also a perfect setting for Ralph Lauren Home lighting and handsome area rugs,” Howells explains. “The new design and Ralph Lauren Home furnishings extend the Tasting Home’s goal of marrying great design and great wine,” he adds. “The loft evokes a very different feel than the downstairs space, so guests will have the option to choose where they spend their time,” he said.

The loft space is available by arrangement with the winery by contacting Shane Soldinger at 707/945-0311 or shane@silvertridentwinery.com.
