Ryanne Haditsch Takes on Winemaker Role at Award Winning Ohio Winery
Aurora, Ohio, November 21, 2016 – Mr. David Thorn, Owner of ThornCreek Winery, is pleased to announce that Ms. Ryanne Haditsch has joined the team at ThornCreek as our new Winemaker. Ms Haditsch is an experienced and highly regarded wine maker who began her full time duties on October 31st.
Haditsch was most recently Head Winemaker and General Manager at Your WINE Cellar in Strongsville, Ohio. From 2012-2016 she actualized extensive business and production growth and implemented wine education programs for staff and guests, winning numerous awards for wine produced. In 2014 Ms. Haditsch began teaching in the Viticulture and Enology program at Kent State University. Haditsch holds a vocational degree in winemaking through WinExpert Canada, WSET advanced certification, and is a national member and a local hosting member of the Cleveland Chapter of the American Wine Society. Ms. Haditsch also holds an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing and Management from Baldwin Wallace University. Commenting on the move to ThornCreek Winery and Gardens, Ms. Haditsch said, “The opportunity to be a part of the ThornCreek team and make wines from such high quality fruit is beyond exciting. I am looking forward to the challenge and actualizing the potential of continually evolving the already highly regarded ThornCreek wines.”

Haditsch resides in Middleburg Heights. When not producing award-winning wines, she spends her time outdoors with her Labrador Retriever, enjoys boating, skiing, and traveling, especially to wine country.
