MikediNapoliNAPA, Calif. (August 2, 2016) – Mark Pope, founder and CEO of Chatterbox Wine Marketing Services, today announced the appointment of Mike DiNapoli to the position of chief operating officer, replacing Ron Scharman, who is no longer with the company.  DiNapoli, who also holds the positions of chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Bounty Hunter Rare Wine & Spirits, will oversee all operational and administrative functions for Chatterbox, working closely with Pope and the sales management team to guide the company’s strategic growth.  Christian Mullen, formerly director of operations, will take on the role of general manager, reporting directly to DiNapoli.

“Along with Mike’s appointment, I am looking forward to stepping up my involvement with Chatterbox and taking on a more hands-on role,” said Pope.  “When we launched Chatterbox, it was in response to what many of us felt was an underutilized channel for marketing our products.  Mike and I look forward to refocusing on that original concept.”

DiNapoli has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector, including nearly 10 years in the wine industry.  He has managed operations, accounting, and financial reporting for a number of high profile wine companies, including Renwood Winery, Cameron Hughes Wines and Francis Ford Coppola Winery.  Before entering the wine industry, DiNapoli worked in accounting in both the public and private sectors.  He held positions at Deloitte and Touche, where he managed key accounts such as The Blackstone Group, First Boston, and Merrill Lynch, and served in various financial services roles at Lehman Brothers.
