Jeremy CarterJeremy Carter has joined Invisible Sentinel as their Wine Business Manager, bringing with him ten years of industry experience in every facet of winemaking.  He will manage all aspects of the company’s wine business including the flagship product, vinoBRETT, and the recently launched vinoPAL. Jeremy will be responsible for market development, forging key winemaking partnerships, and coordinating future R&D projects in conjunction with industry leaders. vinoBRETT, powered by Veriflow, is a game-changing detection technology bringing affordable, on-site PCR testing to winemakers.  Invisible Sentinel is a global molecular solutions company whose proprietary core technology, Veriflow® is a patented microbial detection tool that integrates molecular diagnostics, antibody design, and immunoassays. Veriflow® test kits provide custom solutions for food manufacturers, third party testing labs, craft breweries, and premium wineries around the world. The company developed vinoBRETT in conjunction with winemakers to enable proactive quality management for Brettanomyces at the winery in a cost-effective manner.

“Microbial detection is at the forefront of quality testing not only in our industry, but the food, beverage and healthcare industries globally.  It is incredibly exciting for me to join Invisible Sentinel and support the expansion of their advanced quality management technology as the opportunities for application are endless,” says Carter.  “I look forward to helping producers large and small integrate this technology platform into their winemaking protocols as well as providing custom solutions for winemakers and viticulturists in the future.”

Jeremy has ten years of experience in the lab, cellar, and vineyard while working for producers like Chappellet, Duckhorn, and William Harrison.  He manages production for his own wine label and most recently served as Laboratory Services Specialist for Enartis USA, where he did business development for analytical services and supplies.

“Jeremy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the winemaking industry to Invisible Sentinel,” says Nicholas Siciliano, the company’s co-founder and CEO.  “We are excited to have him as part of our team in our efforts and believe his unique skill set will strengthen our ability to support winemakers in managing the threat of spoilage organisms and producing wines of the highest possible quality.”
