Experience Mendocino County’s finest Wines, Winemakers and local Chefs

Gala Harvest Festival MendocinoSaturday, October 1, 2016 – 2:00pm-6:00pm

Mendocino, CA (June 9, 2016) – The Gala Harvest Festival is pleased to announce the Wine and Food participants.

Wineries confirmed for this event thus far include Barra Winery, Bink Wines, Bonterra, Campovida, Coro Mendocino, Enoteca, Foursight Wines, Frey Winery, Handley Cellars, Jaxon Keys, Kimmel Vineyards, Knez Winery, McFadden Farm, McNab Ridge, Naughty Boy, Parducci, Philo Ridge, Simaine Cellars, Saracina Vineyards, Yorkville Cellars and more to come.

Food and beverage confirmed for the event thus far include Assaggiare Mendocino, Bella Cibo Catering, Chop Chop, Crush Italian Steakhouse, Dora’s Gourmet Cafe, Mendocino College Culinary Arts, Nikos Gyros Shop, North Coast Brewing Co., Oco Time, Patrona, Piazza de Campovida, Saucy, Stan’s Maple Cafe, Ukiah Garden Café, Yokayo Ranch with Ellery Clark and more to be announced.

Performers at this year’s event include Elena Casanova & Friends and Funky Dozen.

“So far this is proving to be a very exciting year for this fundraising event.  Just the sheer volume and quality of the participants bears this out,” enthused executive director Katie Fairbairn.  “Food and wine lovers should make plans to come up to Mendocino County now before this event sells out!”

The Gala Harvest Festival is on its way to being inland Mendocino County’s leading event in 2016. The Gala Harvest Festival will showcase the best Mendocino County wines, winemakers and local chefs on Saturday, October 1 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Mendocino College Student Plaza and surrounding campus in Ukiah. Tickets are $75 and are available at www.mcfgala.com

Event proceeds support the Mendocino College Foundation, non-profit 501 (c) (3), in providing scholarships, book awards, support for instructional programs, and funding for the college’s Nursing Program which is currently ranked as 1 of the 7 best nursing programs in the State of California.
