Reustle’s 2013 Rojo Dulce Best of Show – Dessert at Dan Berger’s International Wine Competition

ReustleReporting on the 2016 Dan Berger International Wine Competition Andy Perdue and Eric Degerman of Great Northwest Wine stated, “Southern Oregon’s Stephen Reustle continues to show why he deserves to be considered one of the nation’s top winemakers” (http://www.greatnorthwestwine.com/2016/05/27/oregons-reustle-scores-again-in-california-wine-judging/). Continuing their report on the competition they praised Reustle for his Best of Show – Dessert wine… 2013 Rojo Dulce.

Dan Berger International Wine Competition declared Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards’ 2013 Rojo Dulce (Red Port) the Best of Show- Dessert at the 2016 Competition held in May.  Reustle’s 2013 Rojo Dulce lead the way for Reustle winning the Chairman’s Award for Unanimous Gold, Best of Class, and then Best of Show – Dessert.  Reustle was also awarded 13 other medals for wines in 8 other categories.

Stephen M. Reustle, Owner/Winemaker was pleased with his wine performance and said, “Dan Berger International Wine Competition continues its tradition, established under its former name of Riverside International Wine Competition, as being one of the top wine competition in America.  To have so many of our wines win medals at this competition is a great honor and to have our 2013 Rojo Dulce, our very first port wine, win Best of Show -Dessert is over the top.
